O Hospital Memorial de Goiana concluiu mais uma etapa de sua ampliação. Novos leitos e equipamentos foram adquiridos em busca de melhoria na qualidade dos serviços prestados. Para celebrar a inauguração da nova etapa foi realizada missa e o coquetel foi oferecido no dia 19/09.

Os católicos goianenses festejam entre os dias 28/09 e 07/10 N. S. do Rosário, padroeira da Paróquia de Goiana. Durante a festa missas, novenas e procissões serão realizadas. O padre Artur Alexandre agradece aos patrocinadores, noiteiros, pregadores, juízes, voluntários, pastorais e movimentos leigos.

A Academia de Artes e Letras de Goiana, sob presidência de Carlos Viégas comemorou mais um aniversario de criação e na ocasião foi apresentado pelo Profº Marcos Paulo Aurélio dos Santos o Panegírico Irmã Marie Armelle Falguiéres. O evento aconteceu na Câmara de Vereadores na sexta feira 19/09.
